Aftercare
Our Aftercare is available to children from Grade 0000 to Grade 6 and takes place conveniently on the school premises in a safe, caring and familiar environment.
We aim to provide a warm “home away from home” atmosphere where children can relax, play, complete homework and feel secure after a busy school day.
Hours: 13:00 to 17:00
Available: Throughout the year, closing from 16 December and reopening on the Monday of the first school term in January.

What Our Aftercare Offers
- A safe, nurturing and welcoming environment
- Cooked, nutritious meals each afternoon, along with a fruit snack later in the afternoon
- Caring staff who are attentive to children’s emotional and social needs
- Homework assistance where needed
- Creative, structured and unstructured play activities, including outdoor play
- Quiet time for rest, reading or individual activities
- Consistent values and discipline in line with the school ethos
- Encouragement of responsibility and good stewardship of personal belongings
- Open communication between staff and parents
- Support for children who may be feeling lonely, unsettled or overwhelmed
Partnership with Parents
We value a strong partnership with parents and ask for your support in the following ways:
- Fees to be paid on or before the due date
- Clear communication regarding illness, extra-curricular activities or changes to collection arrangements
- Children to be collected by 17:00 each afternoon
- Warm clothing, clearly marked with your child’s name, to be sent for changing weather conditions
- Alternate arrangements to be made if collection times cannot be met
- Open communication if your child is unhappy or experiencing difficulties
